"Kingdom Hearts 3" is still one big mystery, and the developer, Square Enix, has no plans of unveiling it soon. However, new details have come out regarding the characters who are expected to be in the game.

It is no secret that Kairi is a beloved character in the video game series. She has appeared in the first and second iterations of the game, and fans knew that she had to be there in the third.

Knowing the possibilities the character has to offer, it was expected she would not miss out on "Kingdom Hearts 3." Rumor has it that Kairi will finally begin a romantic relationship with Sora.

It is known that the Keyblade Master is smitten by Kairi and is prepared to do everything to win her heart. This stated in the first and second game, but it was not the focus of their storylines.

In "Kingdom Hearts 3," the two are expected to finally get together. Fans are thrilled about this development, as it is love that is almost two decades in the making. But more importantly, fans are excited about the idea of two Keyblade Masters becoming a couple since Kairi is expected to be a full-fledged one in "Kingdom Hearts 3."

In the previous game, Kairi wielded a Keyblade, which had many fans thinking that the next installment will see her officially take on the role of a Keyblade Master.

For now, however, there's no confirmation about this yet as Square Enix chooses to keep its cards close to its chest when it comes to anything "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Even the release date and the platforms where it would be released are unconfirmed and unclear. The only speculation with regards to the game's release date is one suggesting that it will roll out in March 2017. It is also being reported that "Kingdom Hearts 3" might be available to the Xbox One as well as the PC, which will be something new as the previous installments were only exclusive to the PlayStation.
