'Saw' returns to theaters this Halloween with its eight movie "Jigsaw." Set around a decade after the death of John Kramer (Jigsaw), the eighth addition to the franchise will focus on the Jigsaw Killer's return.

After a string of unconventional and grisly murders, law enforcement notices a pattern. The deaths happening now are very similar to the deaths that happened back when John Kramer was alive and at large.

"Jigsaw's" trailer opens with a voiceover that says, "Now the game's simple, best ones are. You want mercy, play by the rules." What follows the opening scene is a montage of people struggling to survive a variety of traps ranging from buzz saws falling from the ceiling to metallic rooms filled with pointy and dangerous traps. It's a game of survival that harkens back to previous movies in the franchise.

The trailer also features police officers and detectives skulking around in search of clues. They notice that the corpses have something in common, they have puzzled-shaped lacerations carved into their skin. The officers also find a Universal Serial Bus (USB) stick with a strange video recording that asks them if they wish to know the truth.

Ever since the movie was announced, fans have been wishing to know the truth and have been speculating on whether or not Jigsaw would be making a comeback. Is John Kramer alive? How is he alive? Is the new Jigsaw Killer an apprentice or a copycat? The internet is buzzing with questions, and the fact that Tobin Bell would be returning to play Jigsaw only makes it an even bigger question. How was he revived? Did he fake his own death? Fans of the franchise will have to wait until Oct. 27 to find out for sure.

"Jigsaw" is directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig and the movie stars Tobin Bell as Jigsaw, Matt Passmore as Logan, Callum Keith Rennie as Halloran, Clé Bennett as Detective Keith, and Hannah Emily Anderson as Eleanor.
