Jennifer Garner Takes Children To Church for Sunday Service

Sunday is the time when family usually bonds together and hears mass with all the household members. That is the practice that Jennifer Garner teaches her kids.

Last Sunday, Garner was spotted taking her kids to the church without Ben Affleck and their eldest daughter, Violet, who recently turned 12. So, it was only Garner and her children, eight-year-old Seraphina and five-year-old Sam. The "Elektra" actress sported a pair of dark skinny jeans with visible zipper pockets coordinated with a furry grey and cream sweater. She looked simple but still lovely with flat heels on while clutching a Chanel hobo bag, according to Mail Online.

International Business Times notes that Violet celebrated her birthday this month without her parents, Garner and Affleck. Rather, she spent it with a circle of friends at the Willy Wonka-esque restaurant Barton G. in Los Angeles, California, chaperoned by a nanny. They chowed on lobster pop for their mealtime and bit on cotton candy which served as their dessert.

Even if Garner and Affleck were not with Violet's 12th birthday celebration, the former couple was seen together earlier that day. The "Daredevil" actor wore a gray coat paired with a dark red pair of pants. The "Daredevil" actress, on the other hand, was clad in a maroon sweater as they wandered through the town.

Although they are no longer living as a couple, Garner and Affleck make sure that they spend holidays together as a family, prioritizing their children. On Thanksgiving Day, they were reunited and before the celebration, Affleck and his mom would take the kids, according to Garner.

"If they will play with the kids and just let me cook, it is heaven for me," Garner told Entertainment Tonight, adding, "I will make homemade bread, I'll make stuffing, I'll make a turkey, I'll make gravy, I'll make sweet potato pudding, I'll make pies. Just let me have that day in the kitchen."

They even bought a Christmas tree along the Brentwood located in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, reports say that Affleck's newfound love and "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus has moved into the actor's New York's Upper West Side lavish apartment, with a monthly rent of $28,000, about a month ago, sources told PEOPLE
