'Jane the Virgin' season 3 winter finale spoilers: Rogelio dives back into dating pool

Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is trying his best to finally move on from Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) even going to great lengths such as going on blind dates in a brand new "Jane the Virgin."

The telenovela actor had been forthcoming in willing to be whatever his former love wanted him to be despite the predicament that she is facing. Now, it appears like Rogelio is finally ready to move on by diving into the tricky world of dating trying to distract himself with new ladies, as spoilers suggest. Unfortunately, it does not seem like thing will be going his way after sitting down with the likes of Denise Richards, Brooke Burke, Heidi Balvanera, and Carmen Electra. The promo clip for the midseason finale sees Rogelio being his charming self but soon tanks every chance he gets when he starts becoming too frank on the girls.

Fans already have an inkling on where this plot will eventually end with the recent casting of Justina Machado as the matchmaker Darcy Factor. Although not confirmed, it is speculated that there will be some budding relationship between Rogelio and Darcy enough for the former to be distracted and not think about Xo.

Elsewhere in the midseason finale, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) gets some guilt-tripping from Alba (Ivonne Coll) for missing church. She decides to make up for it by bringing Mateo despite Rafael's (Justin Baldoni) wishes. On the flipside, Rafael realizing an occurrence happening in his past involving his mother will potentially help the Mutter case move forward.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Jane's cousin, Catalina (Sofia Pernas) is starting to feel like prolonged agony as she stays longer than she is welcomed. Unfortunately, given that she is highly tipped to have some romantic tie-up to Rogelio, it might be quite a while until fans will be devoid of her presence.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 airs every Monday, 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
