iOS 10 jailbreak latest updates: jailbreaking more difficult thanks to Apple's continuous updates

Apple may have finally achieved its dream of a fully closed software ecosystem as its rapid release of new updates for its iOS operating system has now managed to fend off any jailbreaking attempts so far. The slew of new operating system updates has made it impossible for hacking teams to catch up and provide a stable tool for users over the last few months.

The lack of any updates has also led to people in the jailbreaking community wondering if any of the teams will be able to release a stable jailbreaking tool any time soon.

In rapid succession, Apple had released iOS 10 followed by iOS 10.0.1 and then iOS 10.0.2. The updates were, of course, meant to address several minor issues with the operating system itself.

However, reports have also revealed that the updates actually also contained fixes that covered up the various security exploits that hackers might be able to use to make a jailbreaking tool.

Pangu, TaiG, and other hacking teams still have not released any stable jailbreaking tool for the iOS 10. Majority of them, however, have revealed that they actually do have a working tool for jailbreaking iOS 10, but it still remains unknown why they have not made it available to the public just yet.

Some reports have revealed that most of the tools might have been rendered useless when Apple released the iOS 10.0.1 update, as is probably the case when it released iOS 10.0.2 recently.

Any exploit that might have been used as a basis for the jailbreaking tool would be rendered useless if Apple finds out about it and releases an update. This notion is most likely the reason why hacking teams have not released their tools yet, as they would have to wait and see if Apple will be able to plug up all the exploits on the operating system that they are currently using.
