Atom will be included in the upcoming Fighter Pack 3 for "Injustice 2." Even though he becomes small, his skill set in the DC Comics game is a big deal. The newest trailer for the character reveals just what he can do during combat.

Alongside June Moone aka Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fighter Pack 3 will also add Ray Palmer aka Atom to the roster. The trailer for the character shows that he can be quite a formidable fighter in the fighting game.

Atom uses his knowledge of science and technology to deal some damage to his enemies. From stuns and snares to size changes, the Atom makes for one very hard to hit character. Apart from the previously mentioned abilities, the gameplay video also features his ability to fly and teleport.

Atom can also freeze his opponents on the spot. This buys him some time to cook up a flammable chemical concoction that will have his enemy flying up in the air once it explodes. As for his finishing move; Atom, as his name probably already suggests, can turn really small before transforming into a giant and pummeling his enemy into the ground.

For those who are unfamiliar with the character, Atom has the ability to change his size due to his quantum bio-belt and knowledge of physics. He can grow or shrink himself in order to defeat his enemies. The character is already brought to life on the small screen via The CW's "Legends of Tomorrow." He is played by Brandon Routh.

The trailer for Atom definitely showcases his abilities to some extent, so fans should be excited to play him in "Injustice 2."

The character was created by Gardner Fox, Julius Schwartz and Gil Kane. Atom made his first appearance in "Showcase" #34 back in 1961.

"Injustice 2" is already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS and PC. Atom will be ready to download on PSN and Xbox Live on Dec. 12.
