HP Spectre x360 15 was recently announced during the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2018, and it is one of the first systems that used Kaby Lake-G processors from Intel. The new version of the Spectre impresses technology enthusiasts because of its improved look and its processor.

According to reports, the laptop uses the new Kaby Lake-G processors from Intel. These processors are a combination of Intel CPU (with its own integrated GPU) with an AMD GPU. It is also available with an Intel Kaby Lake-R processor, coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce MX 150 GPU. Outlets add that the laptop is a good choice for 1080p gaming with 13.5 hours of battery life. When charged while shutting down, it can reach a 50 percent charge for just 30 minutes.

Aside from that, it has a 4K, 15.6-inch Gorilla Glass 4 touchscreen, with support for HP's Tilt Pen. Its connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 3 ports for high-speed peripherals. It also features both fingerprint and IR camera logins using Windows Hello.

As for its design, it uses HP's color scheme of Dark Ash Silver with Copper Luxe Accents. This color scheme is seen on various machines from HP over the years. With its 360-degree hinge, it can be flipped all the way around so it can be used as a tablet. HP Spectre x360 15 is priced at $1,370 when it launches on March 18.

Apart from this laptop, HP also announced a refreshed version of the Envy x2 hybrid tablet. The 1920 × 1280 tablet has a 12.3-inch display and weighs 1.65 lb. It has a detachable keyboard/cover/stand and stylus support. It also comes with a fanless Kaby Lake processor and Windows Hello facial recognition. Its camera is 5 megapixels in the front, while the rear camera is at 13 megapixels. It has 20 hours of battery life and an optional integrated LTE.

The CES 2018 was held on Jan. 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center where different devices and new technologies were announced.
