Harvey Weinstein sexual assault allegations news: Actress reveals details of how Weinsten forced himself on her

A British actress has come forward with allegations of sexual assault against the disgraced Hollywood film mogul Harvey Weinstein. He allegedly promised her a role in one of his films if she heeded his demand to perform sex acts for him.

In a news conference in Manhattan where she discussed the sex trafficking lawsuit she filed against Weinstein, Kadian Noble said that she first met the 60-year-old film producer at an event in London in February 2014 where he allegedly offered to help her with her career. The 31-year-old model added that she was impressed with Weinstein at the time because he was hanging out with model Naomi Campbell and megastar Oprah Winfrey. She immediately thought that the man had amazing things in store for her.

However, when the two met for a second time in France at the Cannes Film Festival in May of 2014, Weinstein allegedly used his promise of career advancement to force himself on her. Noble said he met the producer at the lobby of Le Majestic hotel where she asked Weinstein if he had seen the show reel she provided to his executive assistant in a meeting after their encounter in London. Weinstein supposedly replied in the negative and asked her to come up to his room where he will have a look at it.

Agreeing to go with him in his room, Noble said that she showed the reel to him using her iPad, but instead of focusing on the device, Weinstein allegedly started touching her. She added that the producer continued going on about helping her with her career and that everything was going to be taken care of before proceeding to grip her and lead her to the bathroom. From there, Weinstein supposedly stood behind her and forced her to perform sex acts in front of the mirror.

On the other hand, NBC News reports that Weinstein's representatives put out a statement on Monday saying: "Mr. Weinstein denies allegations of nonconsensual sex. Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances."
