Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton wedding rumors: Couple reportedly married after two years of steady dating

After two years of steady dating, musicians and "The Voice" judges Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have reportedly married.

The news comes in a report which claims that Shelton and Stefani have married in the latter's backyard in Los Angeles. The wedding was simply country-themed, and it was reported that they invited 27 of their closest relatives and friends to attend the wedding.

Of course, being that the two are musicians, there is a band present to play music. Shelton was reported to be barbecuing as the band played. The report states that there was also square dancing involved.

The band played like in a concert as Shelton's barbecue offered corn on the cob, chicken, and ribs on the menu. Stefani offered cake as well, straight from her favorite bakery located in Los Angeles.

The country-themed wedding was accentuated by the couple's attire. Stefani wore a simple dress, while Shelton went for a casual look with a buttoned-down shirt and jeans.

The total cost of the wedding was reported to be around $23,000.

Shelton and Stefani first got into a relationship when they met at "The Voice" season 9. Being judges on the show, the two were frequently together. It was there that the love interest started.

The timing was right as both individuals are single and broke up from their former spouses. Shelton just divorced Miranda Lambert, while Stefani was separated from then-husband Gavin Rossdale.

It should be noted that Stefani and Shelton were already co-judges since "The Voice" season 7. However, they admitted that they were just friends at the time.

Being a celebrity couple, the two are no stranger to rumors. 2017 was especially a rumor-full year for the couple, since the two are prominent and were frequently seen on TV. One of the biggest rumors the couple faced is that when various sources reported that the two were expecting twins.
