Although developer Rockstar Games is mum about the rumored Biker expansion pack for "Grand Theft Auto 5," reports claim that the new downloadable content or DLC is coming this month.
There are talks that the Biker DLC will be released on Sept. 20. This information comes from the game's forums, where a user believed to have started the DLC rumor mill claimed that the planned release was the said date.
Rockstar will reportedly announce it anytime now. However, nine days before the purported launch of the "GTA 5" Biker DLC, the studio is yet to make it official.
The company currently has a Double GTA money and RP Playlist event going on. Rockstar is expected to launch a new one by the end of that event week, which lands on Sept. 15.
If the "GTA 5" Biker DLC will be released in the coming days, Rockstar might make the announcement when the bonus week comes to a close.
There are talks of the Biker DLC ever since the launch of the Cunning Stunts DLC back in July. The game files of the said content contained references to an unannounced DLC by the name Biker.
The fact that they were tucked in to the DLC suggested that Rockstar was already preparing for the launch of the new content. The Biker DLC was initially expected to be released last month, which did not transpire.
As for what the DLC will be all about, it is believed to add motorcycles to "GTA 5" along with properties and missions in line with the theme. The game files alluded to things like joust and initiation as well as bad deal, vehicle export and rescue contact.
All of those are believed to be missions to be added to the game via the Biker DLC, but with Rockstar to give the official word, all this will have to be considered as rumor.
