The rumored "Biker" expansion pack for "Grand Theft Auto 5" may not be released on Sept. 20 after all, despite the reports.

Fans have been waiting for the "GTA 5" downloadable content or DLC since July when the "Cunning Stunts" pack, whose game codes had references to the unannounced add-on, was released.

With only a day before the expected release of the "GTA 5: Biker" DLC, it is looking more and more impossible that it will be made official.

"GTA" tipster Yan2295, one of the individuals who follow the development of the possible launch of the DLC, stated on the game's forums that it is tough to predict the release date for Rockstar Games releases and that erroneous claims do not always mean they are fake.

He said that the studio "almost always changes [release schedules] because of issues and whatnot," and explained that that he had something to believe in with the fact that his and his fellow tipster, Mach1bud's, respective sources had the same Sept. 20 claim for the "Biker" DLC.

Yan2295 also emphasized that the DLC is real, but he now has "no idea" when it will see the light of day. Mach1bud seconded that, saying that he is "sure" about the "GTA 5" expansion's existence.

The "Biker" DLC was first believed to be released back in August. This obviously did not transpire, which led to the speculation that it will drop this month instead.

There are still a couple of weeks before September ends, and some still hold on to the hope that the "GTA 5" DLC will land by then.

"GTA" tipster MrBossFTW voiced this possibility after Rockstar deployed Quality Assurance or QA beta files for "GTA Online," which the company tends to do prior to the DLC release.

Whether or not this update will finally usher players to the advent of the "GTA 5: Biker" DLC, fans will just have to wait.
