It looks like the upcoming "Gotham" season 4 episode 10, titled "A Dark Knight: Things That Go Boom," will be darker than the others. As the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) is now gearing up for war and Professor Pyg (Michael Cerveris) continuously doing his thing, the city will surely be tormented.

After a week of hiatus, the FOX television series will return with a more frantic problem the city has to face. However, Gordon (Ben McKenzie) will be seen making peace with the residents of the metropolis and even with the criminal world.

In the official synopsis of "Gotham" season 4 episode 10, Gordon will try his best to broker a deal with Penguin. However, this one will involve Sofia (Crystal Reed). Also, Alfred (Sean Pertwee) will do everything to pull Bruce (David Mazouz) out of his teenage problems and his worsening hobbies. This is mainly because Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) is gaining control over the Narrows.

"A Dark Knight: Things That Go Boom" will be graced by guest stars Anthony Carrigan as Zsasz, Stu Large Riley as Sampson, and Christopher Convery as Martin. And, of course, Cerveris will still be seen as Professor Pyg.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Comic Book, Cerveris talked about the difference between his villain character in "Gotham" season 4 from the DC Comics universe. "Yah, I don't want to give away completely," he said.

However, he later revealed Professor Pyg's appearance in the FOX television series is more focused on his connection with the show, the city, and with Gordon. "You know how much he's liked the Pyg in the comics, but I would say that his focus in Gotham is more on things to do with Gothamand with the city and with Jim Gordan," he added. As he is known for being a manipulative character, he successfully makes people obey him by doing things they are not sure why they are doing. "His whole reason for existing is not the Dollotrons," he confirmed.

"Gotham" season 4 episode 10, titled "A Dark Knight: Things That Go Boom," will air on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
