The mystery of Oscar's (Garren Stitt) paternity continues. "General Hospital" spoilers indicate more clues are coming up that could complicate things further.
Kim (Tamara Braun) claimed that she shared the same social circle as Drew back when they were living in San Diego. She then added that he was dating her friend at the time. However, her reaction when she saw Patient 6 (Steve Burton) seemed to suggest that there was something deeper. It is apparent that Kim and Drew once had a strong connection before.
Perhaps, Drew really did date someone that Kim knew but they might have had feelings for each other. Kim may also have been in a relationship with another man as well. She could have also gotten pregnant by a different man and decided that a relationship with Drew just was not meant to happen.
Previously, Oscar discovered a CD that was a goodbye gift for Kim. It had a lot of songs about a love that just was not meant to be. It should also be noted that Drew was a Navy SEAL and he had to relocate, so that served as a potential hindrance. There is also the possibility of other romances and some baby drama. It appears that things just got too messy for both Drew and Kim but as mentioned before, they did have some history.
Whether they dated or not, a spark was evident. With this in mind, Drew might not be Oscar's biological father. Should that be confirmed, then this would answer some questions while bringing in a big twist to the mystery. When fans first saw Oscar, he acted like his father had abandoned his family. He might not have said it directly but it was definitely implied.
That certainly did not fit with the moment that Kim saw Patient 6. She was pleasantly surprised to see him again. From the way she reacted to him, it definitely seems like Oscar's real father is not Drew. However, it seems that Kim is worried that the whole story will be coming out. She is on edge whenever she has to talk about her possible history with Drew.
Then again, it is also possible that Oscar's real dad is a piece of work. He might have threatened Kim to stay away from Drew or she would die. This could put Oscar's life on the line.
