'Fear the Walking Dead' season 2 spoilers: Strand's true intentions to come to light?

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 is taking the horrors to the waters. With the zombie outbreak rapidly spreading, the survivors took refuge in the luxurious yacht owned by rich businessman Victor Strand, hoping that they will be spared from the horrific epidemic that is quickly wiping out the city.

Colman Domingo, who plays the role of Strand, was made a series regular in the upcoming season of "The Walking Dead" spinoff. In the last moments of the show's freshman run, Strand offered the cruiser he loved so dearly to the residents – an initiative, which is a bit too suspicious.

Strand's yacht is huge and has everything a person needs to survive days, weeks or even months in the middle of the sea. The catch is that there won't be enough room for everyone eventually and it is believed that this will turn the survivors against each other.

This could easily result to chaos that could potentially be bigger than the pandemonium caused by the fact that zombies continue to breed on land. Quoting Strand's line in the first season, actor Cliff Curtis, who plays Travis Manawa in the series, said to Comic Book Resources: "When it all goes bad, embrace the madness."

It is unclear what Strand's goal really is but Curtis has already revealed in an interview with MTV that Strand is "not meant to be trusted." He referred to him as "a mole — he's got no compass, no sense of good as far as Travis can see." It looks like Strand's true color will manifest in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2.

This poses the question of whether Strand has already foreseen the disorder that will be caused by the people fighting to be on board his yacht. Could he be the one pulling the strings? After all, he has the riches and the means.

It has already been hinted that the survivors will lost contact of their humanity in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2. This will be the source of mayhem in the upcoming season, apart from the possibility that a zombie may end up on board the yacht.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 is expected to premiere summer next year. In the meantime, fans can enjoy AMC's season 1 marathon on Jan. 6, 4 p.m. ET.
