Elon Musk opening retro-style restaurant news: Tesla CEO aims to excite people with classic twist

American business magnate and Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently disclosed his plans to open a retro-style drive-in restaurant in Los Angeles, California.

Musk seems to be very vocal and excited about this new business venture. This despite his successes in many different fields such as OpenAl, Neuralink and SpaceX.

"Gonna put an old school drive-in, roller skates & rock restaurant at one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in LA," said Elon Musk in his official Twitter account.

The idea believed to have been inspired by the retro, 1950s-themed restaurants that serve burgers and fries with milkshakes.

The restaurant will also feature the classic red, black and white color combination patterns on the restaurant floor as well.

However, as surprising as this idea sounds, opening a drive-in restaurant in a Tesla Supercharger location appears to be a good business strategy to keep customers and Tesla owners satisfied.

Tesla is currently expanding their Supercharger locations all over the United States in order to make it easy for Tesla vehicle owners to recharge their batteries in as fast as 30 minutes.

This proves to be more convenient than manually charging the battery for hours. Moreover, the idea of staying at a drive-in restaurant is also better than waiting while doing nothing as battery recharges.

"You want to do projects that are inspiring, and that make people excited about the future. Life's got to be about more than just solving problems," Musk mentioned in an interview with BBC Newsnight.

These ideas to improve the Supercharger locations seemed to have hyped up some more after a video of a Tesla Model X car was seen to have been towing a truck stuck in the snow.

However, details on when the concept will be launched, the exact Supercharger location, and Musk's business partners' have yet to be confirmed.
