"Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" will be shown with an English dub in summer. Globally, the film is planned to be screened in 74 countries.

According to Anime News Network, the dubbing is currently in development, and voice actors from previous "DBZ" films may return to reprise their roles. To date, actor Chris Ayres is confirmed to make his return as Frieza in the new film. Ayres voiced the character in the dubbed edition of the "Dragon Ball Z Kai" anime series.

The new movie, which earned about $8.1 million on the first week that it opened in Japan, is also considered as one of the biggest openers in the country. It earned about 40.3 percent more than the previous "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" movie. During the first weekend, it beat other on-going films such as "Furious 7." Reports say that Japan is the only area worldwide where the Vin Diesel starrer failed to come out on top.

The newest "DBZ" movie premiered for both 2D and 3D across 658 theaters in Japan on April 18, selling almost 716,000 tickets. The film is also the first Japanese film to be screened on 3D IMAX Digital Theaters.

"Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" follows the story of the revival of Frieza, one of the main antagonists in the long-run "Dragon Ball Z" series. His followers use the seven Dragon Balls to revive him, and he gains new powers and swears vengeance on Son Goku, who previously defeated him.

The new movie will also cast other characters in the vast "Dragon Ball Z" universe like Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, and other Z warriors.
