The Tournament of Power arc of "Dragon Ball Super" is nearing its end, with the last two remaining teams in the competition facing each other. Based on the latest spoilers for the upcoming episode 124, Universe 7's Saiyan warriors, Vegeta and Son Goku, will give their best effort to take down the most powerful fighter of Universe 11, Jiren the Gray. The all-out battle will force the two to exceed their current power levels, although it appears that even their combined power will not be enough to defeat their enemy.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 124 is titled "A Stormy Attack, Gohan Fights With his Back on the Wall," wherein the bloody battle Jiren and the tandem of Goku and Vegeta will continue. To recall, Goku has one again achieved his Super Saiyan Blue form combined with Kaioken, while Vegeta was able to surpass his current Super Saiyan God transformation. It appears that Jiren will get the biggest challenge of his life as the two Saiyans attempts to take him down, according to Comic Book.
Unfortunately, spoilers for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 124 imply that Jiren will still get the upper hand in the battle. In spite of Goku and Vegeta achieving new heights in their Super Saiyan transformation, Jiren is expected to unleash a new powerful counter-attack. In fact, there are rumors that Jiren's new technique might be enough to eliminate either one of the Saiyans from the Tournament of Power.
"Goku and Vegeta challenge Jiren together, but even teamed up their attacks have hardly any effect. Instead, Jiren seems to be raising his battle power even higher," the episode 124 synposis states. Meanwhile, other reports suggest that aside from Goku and Vegeta, another Saiyan fighter from Universe 7 is at risk of being eliminated. It is rumored that Gohan will be eliminated along with Dyspo of Universe 11 in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 124.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 124 will be released in Japan on Jan. 21.
