'Dissidia Final Fantasy NT' live broadcast time, date, details: First schedule on Oct. 24 on both YouTube and Niconico

Perhaps one of the most anticipated events for the fans of the "Final Fantasy" game series occurred this week. The first live broadcast for the upcoming "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" for PlayStation 4.

As announced by the game's developers Square Enix, the first official broadcast for the upcoming installment of the game was on Oct. 24, at 9 p.m. JST or 8 a.m. EDT. Fans were able to watch the broadcast live on YouTube and Niconico.

The broadcast will include a full introduction of "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" with a unique story as well as never before revealed information about the game. There were a lot of special guests that were present on the game as well. Announcer Yamazaki Baron, voice actors Marika Kouno, Arthur Lounsbery, Akari Kitou, and Shunsuke Takeuchi, as well as "Mobius Final Fantasy" producer Yoshinori Kitase, plus "Dissida Final Fantasy NT" producer Ichiro Hazama and its director Takeo Kujiraoka.

"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" was already available in arcades exclusively in Japan since November of 2015 and has yet to make its debut on the console platform. It will be coming out on the PS4 worldwide in 2018.

Other than the guests who were present, players who were anticipating the release of the game on the console got to view a gameplay preview as well. According to reports, this installment in the "Final Fantasy" game series has already brought on some big changes. This version marks the introduction of four classes of characters in its arcade version: Vanguards, Assassins, Marksmen, and the Specialists. The character's strengths are also based on their specific class, from their power, agility, and range, to their unique skills.

"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" will be coming to the PS4 in Japan on Jan. 11, 2018. It will then arrive to North America and Europe on Jan. 30, 2018.
