Rumors about the next major event for the first-person shooting video game "Destiny 2" have been circulating, and it appears that players will be getting a special event that coincides with Valentine's Day. Data miners claim that the next event will be titled Crimson Days, which was previously a special event for the first "Destiny" game.

According to reports, the files that have been recently added to the "Destiny 2" database alluded to a whole new array of exotic weapon ornaments. Specifically, the ornaments are meant for the Sweet Business, Prometheus Lens, the Wardcliff Coil, and the Graviton Lance. It is important to note that the details have not yet been confirmed by the game's developer, Bungie.

However, a flower icon located at the top right of the ornaments was the same one that was used in the last Crimson Days event, which strongly suggests that the event might make a return for the sequel.

If players were able to spend enough time with the first instalment of the game, then they would already be familiar with the dynamics of the Crimson Days event -- which required players to find one partner, and be pitted against other teams in a two versus two, player versus player Crucible match. In the past, if a teammate dies, then the player who is left is granted an overall buff, in order to have a better chance at fighting the opponents.

Although the ornaments are not meant to provide and improvements to aforementioned exotic weapons, they are mainly for decorative purposes to give players multiple options with regard to changing the look of their character. Additionally, there will be enough ornaments that will be up for grabs that players will be able to come up with different styles and themes, depending on which ornaments they have garnered through the event.
