Players can expect a much improved gameplay experience with the release of "Destiny 2" 1.1 update.

The patch, which comes three months after the game was launched, finally introduces HDR support for both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. The new gaming consoles also get further video enhancements -- dynamic 4K resolution for Pro and native 4k for Xbox One X.

Bungie included a number of changes to balance as well as other adjustments to the patch. Super abilities can now give more damage to bosses and at the same time enhance the player's healthy recovery, which can now recover even with low recovery statistics.

Save for the Pulse grenade, all other explosives have been made more powerful, and can do increased damage. The Pulse, aside from being nerfed, will also make players' screen and controller shake less when activated.

According to Games Radar, the 1.1 update gave a new feel to some old exotic weapons. Fighting Lion is ready to bring increased damage, as well as give more ammo through Thin the Herd. The perk will now grant bonus ammunition instead of just getting from players' reserve.

Some badly needed perks for the armor -- Lucky Pants now loads one bullet to the hand cannon for every precision kill, while Karnstein Armlets gives temporary boost to both Mobility and Recovery for every enemy hit, and a huge portion of health back for every enemy killed. It also highlights low-health targets.

There has also been some changes in rewards for public events. Several events' XP and Glimmer rewards have been reduced to be more in line with other activities. There will also be fewer Rare (blue) items. The great news, there will be more Legendary (purple) rewards.

All these are on top of the "Curse of Osiris" DLC, which is now available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
