"Destiny 2" players were initially excited about the release of the game sequel's first DLC pack, "Curse of Osiris." But, recent reports say that the DLC locked many gamers out of game content that they can usually access, leading to complaints. As of now, Bungie has already addressed the issue, promising to bring back all the original game features to all players, including those who have yet to purchase "Curse of Osiris."

As reported by GameSpot, the "Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris" DLC introduced changes in character levels and Power level caps. Thus, players will have to increase their level to qualify for certain game modes. Unfortunately, it appears that non-DLC players can no longer play some game contents following the launch of "Curse of Osiris."

To shed light on the matter, Bungie has released a new blog post this week in which the studio addressed the players getting locked out of different game modes. The company promised to solve this problem at the soonest time possible, although an investigation should be made first to know more about the issue.

There already was game content reportedly inaccessible to non-DLC players following the release of "Curse of Osiris." For one, players can no longer join the Prestige Nightfall mode, especially since its Power level cap requirement was increased significantly. Thus, those players without the "Curse of Osiris" copy will no longer qualify for this feature. The Prestige version of the Leviathan Raid mode is also inaccessible to many players, with the absence of Achievement or Trophy to proceed to Prestige Nightfall or Raid.

There is also a problem with obtaining one of the three Meditations coming from Ikora. This week, non-DLC players could only access two of these Meditations, given that the last one only became available this week with the release of "Curse of Osiris." With this, players are already worried about the standard Nightfall mode getting Osiris Strike, as those without the DLC copy may no longer have access to this game mode soon.

Aside from the locked game contents, the "Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris" expansion is said to have caused a bug in the new Prometheus Lens rifle. The weapon apparently has an error as it can deal insanely high damage points to enemy units. Bungie is planning to include the fix to this issue in the upcoming version 1.1.1 update this week.
