The online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game "Destiny 2" will have a live stream next week. The game's director, Luke Smith, hinted some detailsabout the upcoming December update. Aside from that, game developer Bungie recently changed the game's XP earn rates.

In a Twitter post, Smith said that the "Destiny 2" team will discuss everything about the update. This includes economy updates which cover vendors and the acquisition of gears, tokens, and legendary shards. Investment updates, which include new reward systems for the weapons and armory, will also be tackled. Smith and project lead Mark Noseworthy will also address the feedback from the community and answer some questions as well.

The next major update for "Destiny 2" comes alongside the release of the "Curse of Osiris" expansion. The said downloadable content will be out by Dec. 5 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. On the same date, the game will also receive enhancements for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. The expansion is set on Mercury with a new storyline and quests. There will also be new maps in Crucible and other new features that have not been announced yet.

Recently, Bungie's official website acknowledged the issues with XP gain in the game. The developer announced that after reviewing their data, they concluded that "the system is not performing the way we'd like it to."

To fix the issue, Bungie will deactivate the system. As a result, players will see XP earn rate changes for all activities. All values being displayed on the board during the game are consistent in the user interface. To ensure that the changes will satisfy the community and will meet the standards of Bungie, they will check the XP game data gathered for the weeks to come.

"Destiny 2" is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game released on Sept. 6. This game is a sequel to the 2014's "Destiny." Like the original game, "Destiny 2" sports two game types which are the player versus environment (PvE) and the player versus player (PvP) modes.
