Derick Dillard congratulates his sister-in-law Kendra Duggar on her first baby with Joseph.

Jill Duggar's husband Derick Dillard took to his Twitter account to say congratulations to Kendra and her husband, Joseph, as the couple announced their first baby. "Congratulations to Joe and Kendra on expecting your first child! Y'all will make awesome parents, and Israel and Sam are always up/down for some new cousins," said Dillard in his Tweet on Monday, Dec. 18.

Previously, Joseph and Kendra Duggar exclusively told Us Weekly that they are expecting their first child together. "During this season that we are celebrating the birth of Christ, we are so excited to share with you that we are expecting the gift of a child ourselves," said Joseph and Kendra.

The couple is extremely excited as both claimed that they have always loved children as they are real blessings from God himself. "It's so surreal to think of being parents and having our own little one. We cannot wait to see this new baby!"

The couple, 22-year-old Joseph and 19-year-old Kendra, exchanged vows at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Sept. 8, 2018. The ceremony was very intimate, with Kendra's father, Pastor Caldwell, facilitating the ceremony. Joseph and Kendra then traveled to Greece for their honeymoon.

Joseph and Kendra were long-time friends first. They initially met at church when they were younger. The couple confirmed they were dating in March, and the young man proposed in May, during the wedding of his sister, Joy-Anna Duggar to Austin Forsyth.

In other related news, Derick Dillard will not be returning for the next season of "Counting On" on TLC after he was accused of bullying a teen transgender girl on his Twitter account. Dillard claimed he wasn't fired, but it was actually his own decision to leave the show. This claim was supported by TLC's official statement on Twitter.
