'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: Lucas finally reunites with Will; Kate pays Theo a visit, breaks down

It seems that things are looking up for Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) on "Days of Our Lives." Spoilers hint that he will be able to see Will (Chandler Massey) in the flesh again when he returns to Salem.

Ever since Bonnie (Judi Evans) posed as Adrienne (Judi Evans) and broke up with him in her place, Lucas has been on a downward spiral. He lost his love, which would later on be for real, he lost his job because Kate (Lauren Koslow) thought it was for the best, and he thought that Will had gone six feet under. No matter how much Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) tried to urge him to attend meetings and go to rehab, he refused, thus furthering his downward spiral with booze at hand. It is safe to say that he is in a very delicate state of mind at the moment, and he could potentially spiral out of control if triggered.

However, he will get a break from the losses he has suffered when he sees Will again. He will spot his son and realize that he is no longer hallucinating but actually face-to-face with him. Lucas will undoubtedly be shocked when he looks into his son's eyes and hears him speak.

Unfortunately, Will still will not be able to remember the life he used to have, so all this love and attention will overwhelm him. It will be quite a challenge since Will, at the moment, does not feel much of a connection to these people. Yet, it might not matter to Lucas. He will just be happy to see that Will is actually alive. Reuniting with his son again definitely replaces the painful memory of seeing his body in the morgue.

As for Will, he will still have difficulty trying to remember him and his family. He will definitely need some help to remember everything again. Will feels drawn to Marlena (Deidre Hall) because she is a very calm and rational person. "Doc" is certainly not the raging piece of work that Sami (Alison Sweeney) has been in Memphis, nor is she the emotional drunk that Lucas has been either.

Marlena will promise to do whatever she can for him. She will try to put him under hypnosis and hope that something good can come out of it. Unfortunately, this approach will not be successful, but there are other methods to try, among them will be the craziest Sami has ever thought of, controversial more like.

Lucas will think about what has happened so far. Would seeing Will serve as a wakeup call for him to turn his life around? Will he be able to give Lucas some hope?

In the meantime, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers for Monday's episode reveal that Kate will drop by the hospital to visit a comatosed Theo (Kyler Pettis). Once she is in his room, she will start to break down over her role in his situation as with JJ's (Casey Moss).

Previously, after deleting all her messages and voice mails in Theo's phone, Tripp (Lucas Adams) told her the results of his surgery. He pointed out that Theo may never wake up before he left the room. A guilt-ridden Kate started to break down as well. It is only a matter of time before the truth comes out, especially since JJ is on the receiving end of Abe's (James Reynolds) rage. Even though JJ pulled the trigger, Kate was the reason why Theo did what he did.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
