Things tend to get worse before it starts to get better, and this is definitely going to apply in the next two weeks of "Days of Our Lives." Spoilers reveal heartaches, more heated confrontations and suicide attempts.

Starting with the heartache this week, Sonny (Freddie Smith) will be stunned when he finds out that Will (Chandler Massey) locked lips with Paul (Christopher Sean) before he arrived at his place. It will definitely be quite a blow, but Sonny will not give up on him. He is determined to reunite with his once-husband and fortunately, he will get that chance.

Doug (Bill Hayes), on the other hand, has a bone to pick with Rafe (Galen Gering). He may have found out that he and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) broke up for a while. He will try to prevent Hope from getting hurt and insist that Rafe will pay the price if he decides to do it again. Of course, fans know that Rafe indeed did it again, by hooking up with Sami (Alison Sweeney) less than 24 hours after they broke up so this is sure to put him on edge.

Next week, Kate (Lauren Koslow) will find herself fighting another battle, and this time it is with Eve (Kassie DePaiva). They will get into a feud over Gabi's (Camila Banus) company, which happens to be very successful. Eve will want to get Gabi over to Basic Black, but Kate will do anything and everything it takes to keep Gabi in DiMera.

Elsewhere in Salem, JJ (Casey Moss) will hit perhaps the lowest point in his life. He cannot handle the immense guilt that he has been feeling for Theo (Kyler Pettis). Once Abe (James Reynolds) learns of any updates on his son's condition, it will really drive JJ to the edge. He will write letters to his loved ones as he prepares to do the unthinkable: commit suicide.

Fortunately, JJ will decide not to go through with it due to a little divine intervention. Jack (Matthew Ashford) might appear to his son, perhaps to tell him that killing himself is not going to solve anything. Gabi will do her best to make JJ see the light at the end of the tunnel too. Perhaps JJ will remember that despite this terrible deed, he still has people who love and care for him.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays, 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
