'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: Gabi still in DiMera orbit; Paul worries he'll lose Sonny

Fans and longtime viewers know about the love triangle that happened between Abigail (Marci Miller), Chad (Billy Flynn), and Gabi (Camila Banus) over the past several months. "Days of Our Lives" spoilers from head writer Ron Carlivati revealed where these three characters will go moving forward.

As everyone knows, that love triangle blew over a few months back, during the whole incident with Dario (Jordi Villasuso). Carlivati revealed to Soap Opera Digest that Chad has made his choice. He ultimately chose to be with Abigail because he loves her with all his heart and soul. Chad and Abigail belong together, after all.

As for Gabi, Carlivati revealed that he wants her to stick around in the DiMera orbit, so Kate (Lauren Koslow) will be interested in bringing her back. Everyone knows that Kate has always wanted Chad to be with Gabi, but she eventually accepted Chad's love for Abigail knowing that she clearly makes him happy. She also has a connection to Gabi too. Kate thinks Gabi has a good eye for business and will want to use her know-how to benefit both of them.

With Kate bringing Gabi back into the DiMera atmosphere, it will obviously dredge up a lot of old and painful memories for the two women. It will certainly make people wonder if Abigail can really let go of those memories, or if Gabi can manage to really move on despite being around Chad and Abigail. Carlivati revealed that the two women are trying to move past everything that happened.

Moving on to another love triangle, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers indicate that Paul (Christopher Sean) will grow increasingly worried in the midst of this search for Will (Chandler Massey). The search was postponed momentarily due to Sonny (Freddie Smith) getting knocked out because of "Elvis" (John Enos). Sonny will be taken to the hospital and be monitored as he recovers.

All the stress has certainly taken its toll on Sonny, and even with Paul. However, it seems that things are not going to get any better when Paul overhears something Sonny says. He will talk about Will in his sleep. Perhaps, he was saying that Will was the love of his life or that he plans on reuniting with him when he shows up. This will obviously leave Paul crushed and even more worried that their relationship will end when they are able to find Will.

Paul will confide in John (Drake Hogestyn) and admit that his fears are growing. By now, they should have been married and would have built a life together. However, Ben's (Robert Scott Wilson) sudden truth bomb changed everything, and it will change again when Will officially comes back.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12 p.m. EDT on NBC.
