Chuck E cheese shooting: Two suspects at large after shooting a man after altercation

A hunt for suspects involved in a shooting at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant in St. Charles is underway.

A man was reportedly shot multiple times at the crowded family pizzeria at about 8.30 p.m. Monday evening.

The man is currently hospitalized in serious condition after being shot in the entry way between the two sets of doors that leads to the restaurant. He is believed to have been shot again outside, where he was found by emergency crew. Two suspects are currently at large.

Almost 40 adults and children were inside the restaurant located near Highway 94 at the time of the shooting. The shooting reportedly began from an altercation, which then led to a fist fight.

A Chuck E. Cheese worker, who did not want to be identified, said the adult males were possibly fighting over a woman. The group was at the restaurant for a birthday party.

Another employee told news outlets that an argument led to the shooting, with the shooter firing from inside at the victim. The shooting led to chaos, with "everyone running and screaming."
