Walmart Holidays plans, updates: Walmart to post Holiday Helpers to streamline shopping experience, Holiday plans revealed

Walmart — one of the biggest retail companies in the United States — has now revealed its plans for its Walmart Holiday 2016 events. The company will apparently be fully stocking their stores, both its actual stores and their online website, with millions of brand new products this year.

The company will have Holiday Helpers stationed to streamline its customer's shopping experience.

The company revealed that each of their stores will have Holiday Helpers next Friday, Nov. 4. The Helpers will be assisting their customers with finding open registers and short lines in order to hasten their shopping experience.

Each helper can also grab any items customers may have forgotten, and each one will also be giving out treats such as candy canes. Aside from the Helpers, Walmart has also has dedicated managers on hand for its Pickup service to facilitate in quickly giving the customer's order.

"We are listening to our customers and looking for ways to simplify their busy lives. Whether our customers are checking items off their grocery lists or their kids' holiday lists, we want to make their shopping experiences easy and fun," the chief operating officer of Walmart, Judith McKenna, had mentioned in a statement.

It was also revealed that their stores will be holding a number of demos and booths that are all centered around a Winter Wonderland theme this year. There will reportedly be over 150,000 planned demos and 23,000 Santa visits that are going to be happening throughout the entire holiday season.

Along with the different events that will be taking place, it was also revealed that Walmart would be kicking off the event with large rollbacks and different offers. The company has yet to announce its 2016 Black Friday deals for Nov. 25.
