Netflix recently just renewed the show for its second season back in August, and fans will be delighted to know that even more songs of The Beatles — to be covered by world famous artists — are being planned to be showcased.

The series itself was created around the infamous British rock band, "The Beatles," with a number of their songs being interwoven into the show's narrative. Kids are set to once again go on new adventures with the five young bugs living in an overgrown suburban backyard as they learn valuable life lessons during their exploits. The latest reports regarding the show have revealed that the new season will be featuring brand new artists including singers such as Rod Stewart, Jennifer Hudson, Of Monsters and Men, Chris Cornell, Regina Spektor, and Tori Kelly.

The upcoming new season will reportedly be featuring no less than 50 songs from Paul McCartney and John Lennon's Northern Songs Catalogue. Several other popular songs from the rock band including "All You Need is Love!" and "Drive My Car" will also be featured. Chris Cornell even posted a tweet and asked fans to check out his version of "Drive My Car" which would be included in the new episodes.

The hit kids' television series was created by Australian artist, Josh Wakely, and produced by Grace: A Storytelling Company and Thunderbird Entertainment for Netflix. The five main characters featured in the show, namely Jay, Crick, Walter, Buzz, and Kumi will be voiced by Ashleigh Ball, Lili Beaudoin, Charles Demers, Rebecca Husain and Erin Matthews, respectively.

"Beat Bugs" Season 2 is set to be released on Nov. 18 on Netflix.
