The highly-acclaimed videogame "Assassin's Creed Rogue" was first released in 2014 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Recently, game developers Ubisoft announced that the game will have a remastered versions released, which includes 4K  resolution support. This is a chance for current-generation players (with Xbox One and PlayStation 4) to experience the game.

The game was a follow-up to "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," and it similarly features naval aspects. However, instead of being set in the Mediterranean like "Black Flag," "Rogue" is set in the icy waters of the far North.

The remaster will feature higher-resolution textures and new effects. It will also feature all the released expansions, plus some bonus missions called "The Armor of Sir Gunn" and "The Siege of Fort de Sable." In addition to these, there is also a free outfit from Bayek, the main character from "Assassin's Creed: Origins."

In a deviation from other games in the series, "Assassin's Creed Rogue" will not be following the story of an assassin, but a former one. The game will follow the story of Shay, a former member of the brotherhood who turned his back on his brothers.

He left the brotherhood of assassins shortly after a mission that has gone terribly wrong. When he decided to quit, his brothers started to hunt him and sought to end his life.

"Assassin's Creed Rogue" will be made by Ubisoft Sofia, the same company that made the original game. It will be available both for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, with 4K support on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro systems. However, the company did not announce if the 4K resolution will be native to the game or if it will be some form of upscaling.

The remastered version of "Assassin's Creed Rogue" is expected be released on March 20.
