iOS 9.2 jailbreak by Pangu in the works

The latest iOS jailbreak tool from Pangu Pangu

Many Apple device users are still waiting for the iOS 9.1 jailbreak tool. Apple rolled out the iOS 9.1, which rendered the iOS. 9 jailbreak tool unusable, last October and iOS 9.2 was released a few days ago but a public jailbreak tool is still nowhere to be found – but not for long.

China-based hacking team Pangu is already on it. The group is apparently working on a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.2. In order to put the indestructible software together, Pangu has been locating the weak spots of the latest iOS update through its beta versions.

The hacking group should be in the final stages of building the iOS 9.2 jailbreak tool with the final version of the operating system already out to the public. However, details on a release date are still elusive and this may be a good thing.

When Apple released iOS 9, Pangu had a solid jailbreak tool to penetrate it. But there came iOS 9.1, which trounced the effects of the jailbreak tool. This left users stuck with iOS 9 as they wait for a new version of a jailbreak tool.

The iOS 9.2 jailbreak will be here soon, though Pangu is apparently playing with the element of surprise to make sure that their hard work in building it will not be wiped out by Apple releasing an update.

Nonetheless, the existence of the iOS 9.2 jailbreak will allow users to break free from iOS 9 and experience the latest version of the Apple firmware and more. It is still unclear if there will be a jailbreaker for the iOS 9.1 as well.

At the moment, users who still have iOS 9 or any of its versions (iOS 9.0.1 and 9.0.2) can still utilize the iOS 9 jailbreak cooked up by Pangu last October. It remains to be seen when the iOS 9.2 jailbreak will be available but it is expected it won't take long to arrive.
