Fans of the incredibly popular "Animal Crossing" games are in for some great news. It was recently announced that the game will be coming to another platform. "Animal Crossing" on mobile anyone?

After many installments in the "Animal Crossing" franchise, the newest one, called "Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" is here, and it is arriving on both iOS and Android devices in a month or so. The game first debuted in the west on the Nintendo GameCube back in 2002. It has since become very popular, selling 30 million copies and expanding to other Nintendo platforms.

Fans can now look forward to the same style of gameplay on mobile. As the name of the game implies, "Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" takes place on a campsite, where the player becomes the new manager. As with the other games, players can decorate the campsite by making furniture as well as decorations while gathering resources, exploring other areas and even making some friends along the way.

Plus, it is not just the campsite either. Players will have their own camper van, which can be decorated to suit their tastes. The difference in this version of the game is that instead of paying off the mortgage to Tom Nook, players will pay off their mortgage to a trio of penguin brothers.

Being able to craft furniture and expand the campsite is a way for the player to make new furry animal friends and have them over to visit. When they have stayed, they can wander back from time to time to hang out or even chat. While the basic chairs and beds are great, players can attract more guests by putting out some amenities on the campsite.

Players can also take a ride in their camper van to go elsewhere on the island; and just like the other "Animal Crossing" games, it also takes place on a 24-hour cycle, so everything happens in real time.

"Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" was originally announced in the spring of 2016, and Nintendo originally intended to launch the mobile game before the year ended. However, the launch was delayed due to the "Super Mario Run" launch in the fall. It was delayed once again when they launched "Fire Emblem Heroes" before March this year.

"Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" will arrive in the latter part of November for iOS and Android but fans can already pre-register for the game.
