Marvel Television and ABC finally unveiled a new trailer for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5. In the season finale of "Marvel's Inhumans," fans saw a glimpse of Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the group's future.

In the teaser, Coulson, Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), Daisy "Skye" Johnson (Chloe Bennet), Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) are all stuck in space. And it looks like things are about to get pretty intense with the coming of new characters, creatures and enemies.

In the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 video, a yet-to-be-introduced character is excited to see Coulson on their planet. "You're here, Agent Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. You've come to save us," he says. Coulson, on the other hand, is rather confused.

Coulson then asks the guy where they are exactly, who the "us" he is pertaining to and from what is he going to save them from. An alien then emerges from nowhere. Someone who looks like Star-Lord from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" then appears. However, it seems like he is not the real Peter Quill.

Simmons is also seen asking May if she knows how to fly a spaceship. To which, she responds that she knows the perfect answer to that question.

There are also some scenes featuring members of the Kree race. This just hints that they will play a vital role in this new chapter. The agents have to find out where they really are and have to find their way home before something bad happens back on earth.

Meanwhile, four new faces are about to be introduced in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5. Jeff Ward will be seen as Deke, Eve Harlow as Tess and Coy Stewart as Flint. Also, Pruitt Taylor will be coming to the show as Grill.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 will air on Friday, Dec. 1, with a two-hour special episode, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
