Infiniti has announced a reservation program for the 2019 QX50 ahead of its official launch this spring. The all-new luxury crossover will be available to purchase with a starting price of $37,545.

According to the automaker, prospective customers who place their reservations for the 2019 QX50 during this pre-launch phase will be eligible to receive luxury rewards. The more reservations received, the more benefits for the customers. Infiniti has not announced specific rewards but did say that there will be three themes: Tech, Audio and Home.

"The rewards are more than just incentives. The gifts are well-suited for the luxury lifestyle, and the reservation program is designed to help build a sense of community," said Phil O'Connor, director of Marketing Communications and Media at Infiniti.

The first tier of rewards unlocks at 4,000 reservations, followed by the second tier at 8,000 and the third tier at 12,000. As of press time, there are already 7,329 reservations on Infiniti's website. The special reservation program is available until Feb. 28 and customers who purchase or lease the 2019 QX50 by May 31 will be eligible to receive rewards.

Upon launch, customers will be able to enjoy the 2019 QX50. It features a bold exterior that reflects Infiniti's "Powerful Elegance" design language. Meanwhile, the spacious interior features high-quality materials and advanced craftmanship. The 2019 QX50 comes in three trims: Pure, Luxe ($40,395) and Essential ($44,345).

All models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain features Infiniti's VC-Turbo technology that continuously adjusts the compression ratio for optimized performance. It delivers similar torque and efficiency of a 3.5-liter V6 engine.

The 2019 QX50 comes standard with a front-wheel drive but customers can opt for an all-wheel-drive system for an additional $1,800. Other available technologies include ProPilot Assist, direct adaptive steering, distance control assist, back-up collision intervention, lane departure warning and prevention, and forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection.

All starting prices mentioned include a $995 destination and handling fee.
