Lexus is getting ready to launch the 2018 RX 350L. A new TV spot highlights the versatility of the all-new three-row luxury crossover, which goes on sale in dealerships on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Beginning Saturday, Jan. 13, a general market TV spot titled "Emily" will begin airing nationwide. The advertisement showcases how the 2018 RX 350L is able to easily adapt to everyday scenarios. A young couple is seen driving their daughter to a birthday party, among other events. It has ample space to fit their daughter's friends, pets and even stuffed toys.

The 2018 RX 350L can also adapt to the unexpected as at the end of the clip, Emily is told about the arrival of a younger sibling.

The all-new three-row luxury crossover is available in six- or seven-passenger capabilities. Lexus increased cabin space while maintaining the sleek appearance of the iconic RX nameplate. The automaker was able to provide headroom for third-row passengers by elongating the rear by 4.3 inches and using a steeper tailgate window angle compared to the two-row RX models.

With a seven-seat configuration, the 2018 RX 350L's second row comes with a 40/20/40 split bench-type seat. A lever slides and folds second seat forward, giving access to the third row. Meanwhile, the six-seat configuration comes with second-row captain's chairs with enough space to walk to the third row.

Under the hood, the 2018 Lexus RX 350L is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 290 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with a front-wheel drive (FWD). However, customers can opt for an all-wheel-drive system (AWD).

The 2018 Lexus RX 350L has a starting price of $47,670 (FWD) and $49,070 (AWD). There will also be an additional $995 charge for delivery, processing and handling.

The luxury crossover's hybrid variant, the RX 450h, is slated to arrive in the spring. Pricing has not yet been announced.
