"Yakuza Kiwami 2," the full remake of Sega's popular action-adventure video game "Yakuza 2," just recently released a demo on the Japanese PlayStation Store.

The demo contains a small glimpse of the game's main story, giving players a feel on what to expect on the latest iteration of the "Yakuza" video game series. According to Gematsu, the file weighs over 9.89 gigabytes and can be downloaded as long as players have a Japanese PSN account whether they are in Japan or anywhere else in the world.

Recently, Sega has also updated the official website of "Yakuza Kiwami 2" with new information and screenshots featuring the game's newest play spots. Some of these play spots include Toilets, Virtual-On, Karaoke, the Gravure Photo Studio, Coliseum, and more.

A "Gravure Photo Studio" play spot is also one of the newest additions to the game, featuring popular gravure idols "Hikaru Aoyama" and "Rina Hashimoto." In that particular play spot, the player plays the role of a cameraman, taking gravure photos of the idols while even engaging in a playful conversation. The goal is to take the perfect service shot, which can be done if the player is skillful enough to bring out the idol's charm.

"Yakuza Kiwami 2" will get a Japanese release on Dec. 7, and it is still not yet known whether the game will be made available to other countries as well. However, basing on the recent Western release of the original "Yakuza Kiwami" this year, it may still be possible that the game will be released worldwide.

The game's main story plot takes place a year after the events in "Yakuza Kiwami." Players will again play the role of "Kazuma Kiryu," trying to solve yet another quandary concerning the Japanese Mafia.

Obviously, the game is purely in Japanese. Also, the basic functions for the X and O buttons are different than of the Western standards. The circle button confirms in menu and the cancel button is X.

"Yakuza Kiwami 2" will launch in Japan exclusively on Dec. 7. The game is also exclusive to play on PlayStation 4.
