WWE rumors 2016: Triple H trying to get Alberto Del Rio released? The Game reportedly wants someone new at Wrestlemania 33

According to the latest WWE rumors, Triple H is trying to talk CEO Vince McMahon into releasing Alberto Del Rio from the company.

Last month, it was rumored that Del Rio will leave the company as there's no middle ground left to stand on with WWE. Now, it is being said that The Game is trying to get him out.

This is reportedly because, as per Cageside Seats, he "parties too much" and is not a god influence to his girlfriend Paige, who is currently out of the spotlight due to an injury.

Triple H is reportedly using his authoritative power to get Del Rio out and it might be working because rumor has it that the Mexican superstar will not return to WWE after his contract expires this October.

It is unclear if this issue also led to Del Rio and Paige being drafted to separate brands whereas the other couples in the business ended up either both on Raw or on Smackdown Live.

While Triple H is adamant on releasing Del Rio, Mr. McMahon appears to be interested in re-signing the 39-year-old. He even thought of boosting Del Rio, which The Cerebral Assassin appears to have quickly thwarted.

With the two butting heads on what to do, it remains to be seen what's next for Del Rio in WWE. In his latest clash against John Cena on Smackdown, which was hyped by the leader of Cenation himself, Del Rio lost.

As for Triple H, the former World Heavyweight Champion still plans to set foot in the ring at Wrestlemania 33. It is rumored that he will take on Shane McMahon.

However, The Game reportedly wants to battle a superstar on the rise in order to hit two birds in one stone – he returns to the ring and boosts a fledgling star's career.

That being said, a match between Triple H and Shane O'Mac may not be on the cards.
