The final chapter in the highly popular "Uncharted" action adventure video game series, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," was indeed a worthy installment to cap off the adventures of the game's main protagonist, Nathan Drake. However, as far as its replay capability is concerned, there wasn't really much in terms of online modes, forcing players to move on to other titles after having completed the game.

In the midst of the numerous online modes that other games are offering its players, the game's developers Naughty Dog has now announced that they will be following suit with a myriad of new online modes. The new modes should give players the opportunity to stay within the same "Uncharted" world despite having already completed the main campaign of the game.

The company previously added a Classic mode and a new Bounty Hunter mode to the game, but they have announced that they will be adding a new Co-op Survival mode sometime next month. Sony recently made the announcement on their official Twitter account, while also revealing that they will be showing off the new mode during the upcoming PlayStation Experience (PSX) event that will be held next month on Dec. 3.

Naughty Dog also gave details about the upcoming new mode in their official blog mentioning that the mode will consist of 50 waves of enemies. A boss battle will also apparently ensue after every 10 waves. A new in-game transaction system will also be put in place where players will be able to buy upgrades for their weapons, purchase mysticals and sidekicks.

The new mode will be playable in both solo mode with AI teammates, and co-op mode with two additional players. Naughty Dog has yet to announce the official release date for the new co-op mode, but the company is expected to do so during the PSX event next month.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was released as a Sony PlayStation 4 exclusive title back in May this year.
