Electronic Arts finally revealed the release date of the much-awaited "Ultimate Fighting Championship 3" or "UFC 3." It also unveiled the video game's official gameplay, features, and cover athlete.

This time, fans are going to see Conor McGregor as EA Sports' "UFC 3" global cover athlete. The 29-year-old professional boxer is known as the only UFC fighter who holds titles in two different weight classes. He, too, holds the record for the quickest Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) knockout in history for defeating Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds in the 2015 UFC Featherweight Championships.

In "UFC 3," the players will now have the chance to have their own way in the UFC scene using the G.O.A.T. career mode. Here, the gamers have to promote their fights, have a lot of fans, and enemies that will honor them to claim the title of being the Greatest of All Time. This will also let them have the type of person they want to be by having an option to choose from being calm and decent or to do trash-talking.

Also, the users can use the new set of multiplayer modes under the Knockout Mode. This includes Stand & Bang mode, Submission Showdown mode, and Fight Now Custom, which will let the players customize matches by adding unlimited stamina or additional strike damage. It also has the new Tournament Mode where the player has to fight a lot of enemies in a number of bracket-style elimination rounds.

Meanwhile, EA Sports also proudly revealed via VG24/7 that "UFC 3" features Real Player Motion Tech. It is a kind of animation technology that features most "fluid and responsive motion" in the game's history. This will allow the gamers to move, hit, and use different in-game combinations that will look like a real-life mixed martial arts match.

"UFC 3" will be released worldwide on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
