Developer Respawn Entertainment created the "Titanfall 2" with all platforms in mind and not just the Xbox One, which was expected due to the franchise's history with the Microsoft console.

"Titanfall 2" art director Joel Emslie clarified this during an interview with Dual Shockers. He said that the build the game versions "in tandem" so they were piecing the game together simultaneously for both platforms.

"We treat them all equal, with equal quality and equal approach," Emslie said. However, he also clarified that the resolutions for the platforms are yet to be finalized.

The games resolutions in the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 are different, at least at the moment. While both running 60 frames per second, the latter was at 900p while the former was only 720p.

"The resolutions are still a little bit development. We have some features where we're still putting the finishing touches on, that could help the resolution of the game," Emslie explained.

"But it's something that we don't want roll out at this point, or talk about because we're not sure if it's right for the game and if it works properly," he went on to say.

What Emslie assures is that Respawn will do its best to have "Titanfall 2" running in 60fps, explaining that it is a "really a huge, huge goal" for the studio.

Emslie also discussed the single player campaign in "Titanfall 2," and how it was based on a lot of feedback from fans. He described the process as "building something really special."

He said that Respawn made sure to make careful approach in assembling the content, leading them to give players the experience to "build a relationship with your Titan" and "start caring" the character.

Just recently, the Tech Tests for the game both at the Xbox One and PS4 wrapped up. There, new additions and tweaks were introduced in the multiplayer.

"Titanfall 2" will be officially released Oct. 28.
