'The Young and the Restless' spoilers: Romance brewing between Scott and Abby? Phyllis rants to Nick

Could a romance be the end result of all this danger? Possibly. "The Young and the Restless" spoilers suggest that it could be happening between Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Scott (Daniel Hall).

Abby already knows that something just does not feel right lately, especially with Zack (Ryan Ashton). She knows he might be up to no good, but she has yet to know about the criminal activities that Zack is doing. Scott on the other hand, despite having chemistry with Abby, is not exactly in an exclusive relationship with Sharon (Sharon Case).

Viewers know that Scott has only been brought to Genoa City earlier this year, practically filling the void left by Dylan (Steve Burton). Scott, like Dylan, became Sharon's love interest soon after.

Victor (Eric Braeden) later on hired Scott as an executive at Newman Enterprises. Even though he did not have experience working at a corporate setting, he is well-versed in traditional journalism. With his position as the head of the digital media division, he will certainly find out a thing or two about Zack's shady activities. It is only a matter of time before Zack gets caught or exposed, and when it happens, Abby will definitely be devastated.

At the moment, Scott is looking into a trafficking syndicate that has made its way into Genoa City. It only makes sense that he will be involved in some form in exposing Zack as the head. There is a chance that he will be the first to know that Abby is in danger. Scott could be the one to save Abby and perhaps a romance may be on the way for these two.

In the meantime, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Thursday's episode reveal that a romance is on the rocks. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is not exactly liking the situation with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She will rant about it to Nick (Joshua Morrow) and hope for some support.

However, she should also be ready for some tough love. After Phyllis rants to Nick about the corporate drama going on, Nick will blame Billy. He will think Phyllis has to accept that Billy is not exactly a great guy.

Nick does not want Billy getting back with Victoria either. He believes they are just too good for him. Unfortunately, Phyllis seems to be hopelessly smitten with Billy. If she is not, then she is pretty determined to keep Billy away from Victoria. Jealousy plays a big role in this whole triangle. Either way. Phyllis will continue to stand by Billy for now.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
