It is amazing how much hidden information is revealed just by looking at someone's purchases. That certainly seems to be the case for the Newmans.

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers indicate that Newman Enterprises will have a big problem on its hands. It turns out that the company is going to be audited and that means secrets may come out.

Perhaps the one person who will suffer a huge blow from this move is the Newman patriarch himself, Victor (Eric Braeden). Fans know that he has done some shady things, and since the local authorities are zeroing in on his company, they will find out a lot of those. Victor has often been the evil mastermind of many schemes, most of which required paying some questionable characters handsomely.

For starters, he paid Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez) to look after Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and there will definitely be other expenses that are related to helping her skip town too.

If the skeletons in Victor's closet start coming out, the local authorities will start digging deeper, leading to Victor's criminal activities. A lot of conclusive evidence against Victor will surface and this could take him down. This audit could also reveal his plots with Chloe as well as other dangerous negotiations that he tried to keep hidden. This would definitely be another blow for Newman.

Once the company is heavily scrutinized, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) may crack under the intense pressure being placed on them. She will do everything it takes to save the reputation of her family. However, it will be anything but easy. By the end of this debacle, Victoria could continue to show her nasty side. She will obviously point the finger at Abby (Melissa Ordway) for triggering this mess and setting off a chain reaction.

Victor will naturally be on edge as well. He will be enraged and a little scared that he might find himself behind bars again. Prison is the last place Victor would want to be in. There is also added concern due to a really big secret that the Newman family head has kept hidden and has kept everyone else in the dark on.

The spoilers certainly hint that an Adam Newman recast will be happening down the line. Victor was clearly devastated after his son supposedly died, but he might not have given up hope. Should he find him later on, they might agree to keep this between the two of them until the time is right for him to resurface in Genoa City.

Adam may have even suggested that he thought it would be best to disappear, so as not to cause additional pain for his son Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) and his wife Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). With this kind of move, Adam will likely need some financial assistance, which Victor will happily oblige to do so he could get by wherever he is. Should this audit bring up proof of payments made to Adam, then some serious drama is at hand for this family.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays, 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
