"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has received visual enhancements for the Xbox One X console.

VideoGamer reports that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has received an upgrade patch (patch number 1.60) for the Xbox One X. Owners of the console will be able to play the game in two new visual modes – "4K Mode" and "Performance Mode."

"4K Mode" allows Xbox One X console owners to play "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second (FPS). The visuals will be super-sampled if the console owner does not have a 4K capable display.

On the other hand, "Performance Mode" for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will offer dynamic resolution scaling from 1080p to 4K resolution. Additionally, Xbox One X console owners will be playing the game at a whopping 60 FPS. Players can toggle the two new visual modes at will in the game.

Both the two new visual modes for the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" on the Xbox One X also supports High Dynamic Range (HDR). To switch between the modes, players only have to go to "Options" and scroll down to the "Display" option.

The same visual enhancements for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" also came to the PlayStation 4 (PS4) Pro in October dubbed "update 1.50." Update 1.50 only cost over 100 megabytes (MB) of space for PS4 Pro owners.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" was released way back in 2015. The game's developer, CD Projekt Red, released the visual updates to the game with respect to the updated iterations of the PS4 and Xbox consoles, both of which currently supports 4K resolution gaming.

Speaking of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," a "Witcher" series will be coming to the streaming giant Netflix. As previously reported, "Daredevil" and "The Defenders" writer Lauren S. Hissrich will be writing the series.

The series will be inspired by the "Witcher" series of books written by Polish Writer Andrzej Sapkowsk and follows "Geralt of Rivia" in his adventures around the Continent.
