In the latest episode of "The Walking Dead" season 8, fans are treated to an entire episode almost fully devoted to King Ezekiel (Khary Payton). It is the fourth episode of the latest season titled, "Some Guy."

The first scene started where the third episode, "Monsters," left off. After Ezekiel's group attacked another Savior compound, it is clear it has turned into a massacre. The Kingdomers, who formed a human shield around their king to protect him, were all dead.

The title is appropriate, as after losing so many of his people, and his pet tiger Shiva, at the end of the episode King Ezekiel became instantly depressed and refused to act like the dignified character he was supposed to be, saying he was just, "some guy." The episode is action-packed, full of gory scenes and tons of walker and Savior deaths, but the death of Shiva was a shocking point.

The episode started with Ezekiel waking up among the dead bodies of his people who tried to protect him, and tried to drag himself away as they slowly turn into walkers. He was instantly filled with grief for his people, and he was saved again by another one of his subjects, Alvaro.

They were soon found by a Savior, and with Alvaro being killed, Ezekiel is shown to be captured. However, in a scene where it looks like the Savior and Ezekiel are about to be taken over by walkers, Jerry (Cooper Andrews), Ezekiel's loyal and good-natured bodyguard, arrives just in time to save his master, followed next by Carol (Melissa McBride), who has infiltrated enemy compound.

A scene was also shown where Rick and Daryl arrive to intercept the Savior's truck, which they managed to do so successfully. Then, Carol, Jerry, and Ezekiel, slowly make their way back to The Kingdom, where Ezekiel tried to sacrifice himself to the walkers in his fit of grief. It is where Shiva arrived just in time to help, and did not make it out alive.

All of what happened, with the addition of losing Shiva, finally made Ezekiel break. The three managed to arrive safely in The Kingdom, but it looks like "The King" is not coming back, emotionally and mentally.

Will Ezekiel eventually get over Shiva's death, or will it consume him for the duration of the season? With his persona s "The King" now broken, will he still be able to find his real self again? Stay tuned for the upcoming episodes.

"The Walking Dead" airs on Sundays, at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
