In the next episode of "The Mick," Mackenzie (Kaitlin Olson) and the gang accompany Alba (Carla Jimenez) to church after she admits that she may have a substance abuse problem.

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "The Church," were just released recently, and they show Mackenzie and Alba getting into a conversation in the living room. Alba appears to be troubled and tells Mackenzie that she has a bit of a substance abuse problem. Being a religious person, she believes that going to church would help her overcome her slight addiction, and asks Mackenzie if she could accompany her. The easygoing Mackenzie quickly accepts her offer and asks the whole family to come as well. It seems that Sabrina (Sofia Black-D'Elia) and Chip (Thomas Barbusca) do not want to go but their Aunt Mackenzie forces them to get with the program.

After the mass, Alba invites the priest over to their home for Sunday football. The family takes an immediate liking to him, apparently. They seem to want to know more about religion and how it affects their own lives. Even Ben (Jack Stanton) starts to question his belief in God, which prompts Sabrina and Jimmy (Scott MacArthur) to guide him in his thinking. After all, Ben is just a young kid and is very impressionable.

In the last episode, Mackenzie and Alba went on a field trip with Ben's class to the trash dump. After the trip, they found out that they unknowingly picked up a stray kid which made them become hysterical. They did not want to be mistaken for kidnapping the kid therefore a lot of shenanigans happened after that incident. The kid went home to his parents safely in the end.

"The Mick" season 2 episode 14 will hit the small screens on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
