Santa Clause leaves his beloved sleigh in the care of the librarians' tags along Flynn (Noah Wyle), Baird (Rebecca Romijn), and Jenkins (John Larroquette) on his first vacation in centuries in the upcoming episode of fantasy-adventure television series "The Librarians."

The synopsis from TVGuide also reveals that the squad will be using Santa's sleigh to save Ezekiel (John Harlan Kim) and Christmas itself from Santa's Grinch of a brother, the Patron Saint of Thieves who is looking to destroy his brother's sleigh.

The promo for the season's third episode begins with the Grinch claiming how Santa's sleigh shall be his to destroy. Later, the trailer shows Ezekiel and Santa's brother face-to-face with Ezekiel quickly identifying the man to be the Patron Saint of Thieves. The video ends with the librarians on board the sleigh, seemingly having trouble controlling it.

Following the third episode titled "...And the Christmas Thief," the fourth episode will air on the same day. The synopsis for the episode reveals that Flynn and Baird will be sucked into the latter's favorite classic noir film and that the librarians will have to perfect old western skills including lassoing, sharpshooting, and snappy dialogue to make it out of the movie alive.

The promo for the fourth episode titled "...And the Silver Screen" does not reveal much with regards to the plot of the installment as it supposedly shows a clip from the black-and-white classic noir in which Flynn and Baird will be sucked into. The movie shows a man and a woman inside an office looking for help as if they are trapped in the movie themselves. The woman utters "I know everything about this office. I've seen it ten times, and I don't think we're going about this the right way." She then stares blankly into the camera and says, "I think the way out is out there."

"The Librarians" episodes 3 and 4 will air back-to-back on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
