'The Good Wife' season 7 spoilers: Ruth finds an ally in Courtney Paige to get rid of Jason in episode 10 'KSR'

Ruth continues to attempt her plot to break off Alicia and Jason's romance in the next episode of "The Good Wife" season 7 titled "KSR." After the campaign operative found out about the budding love affair, she made sure to get Jason as far away from Alicia as possible – literally.

Peter's campaign manager wants to make sure Peter ends up as the president and Jason is in the way. To dispose of him, she convinces powerhouse CEO Courtney Paige aka Eli's squeeze-to-be to hire Jason on a business located in an entirely different state to get rid of the private investigator.

Paige should be one to oblige as she herself wouldn't want her precious name smeared for associating with a presidential candidate whose wife is dating another man. It remains to be seen whether or not this "The Good Wife" season 7 episode breaks up Alicia and Jason.

It is especially worrying though, knowing how much business power Courtney holds. Ruth definitely won't go wrong enlisting the businesswoman's assistance. Nonetheless, how this turns out is everybody's guess at the moment.

But in the event they succeed, will distance really stop Alicia and Jason? Take it from Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Alicia's new man. The actor told TV Guide that with Jason's passion and grip on what's right or wrong, "he'll find a way to cross that line with Alicia."

Meanwhile, Alicia also has a case to deal with in this "The Good Wife" season 7 episode. This time, she and Lucca attempt to prove the innocence of a well-respected surgeon who is being accused of engineering a crime.

Fans can expect a thrilling, bombshell-filled installment as "The Good Wife" season 7 episode 10 is the final hour of the show for this year. Apart from Vanessa Williams' return as Courtney Paige, the episode will also see Peter Gallagher once again as Atty. Ethan Carver.

"The Good Wife" season 7 episode 10 airs Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
