The production for "The Flash" season 2 is well underway and the fastest man alive himself Grant Gustin can't help but gush about what the series has in store for viewers when it races to the small screen once again next year.

In a recent tweet, the actor teased that episode 14 of the season will "blow your minds," giving more reasons for fans to stay at the edge of their seats until the show's midseason premiere in January.

If executive producer Greg Berlanti's recent statement about the future of "The Flash" season 2 is any indication, Gustin is not at all overstating. Berlanti told TV Line that the season has what he called "the two craziest episodes that we've ever done."

In episode13 and 14 of the series, it is expected that a sinister character from the comics is paying a visit. DC Comics villain Geomancer will be appearing in the said installments to terrorize Central City. He will use his ability to summon earthquakes in his attempt to beat Flash.

"The Flash" season 2 is getting more and more comic book-y, which fans love. The series is constantly bringing in live-action counterparts of characters from the comics. In the midseason finale, Wally West (who in the comics was also a speedster) made his debut.

It is unclear if the character will share the same fate as its original comic book version but it should be exciting to see another speedster running around. Notably though, another speedster may be joining the party soon.

Rumor has it that DC Comics character Eliza Harmon aka Trajectory will be speeding through "The Flash" season 2. Harmon is a scientist but she herself is a huge fan of speedsters and dreams of one day replacing Kid Flash aka Wally West.

The character was introduced in the New 52 although it is unclear that she will get a stint in the hit CW series. Whether or not she would appear, fans will know when "The Flash" season 2 returns on Jan. 19.
