Ever since the release of the last installment in the highly popular open world action adventure franchise "The Elder Scrolls," fans of the series have been wondering about the development plans for the next title in the series. Just recently, the game's developer Bethesda confirmed that "The Elder Scrolls 6" was in fact part of their future projects. The only catch is that they are not really planning to begin the project any time soon.

Now, new reports are claiming that the game may be coming out in 2019 and that it could be coming with virtual reality support.

Just last month, Bethesda confirmed that "The Elder Scrolls 6" was part of their future plans and that it will be developed down the road. However, Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines mentioned that it will not likely be part of their development plans for next year and even the year after that, which basically means that a 2017 and a 2018 release may be out of the question.

Based on Hines' statements, some fans have speculated that the game could be coming out sometime in 2019.

Bethesda also mentioned that prior to working on the new "Elder Scrolls" game, they will be developing two more titles. The company mentioned that the two other titles will be massive ones, and that they will be putting all their focus on them before moving on to the "Elder Scrolls" sequel.

As for the game's rumored features, some reports have predicted that Bethesda may be adding a virtual reality element to the game. The rumors originally stemmed from an interview with the game's creator Todd Howard, who mentioned that he was very much interested in exploring VR capabilities with his games.

Howard did not specifically mention the sequel, but it can be assumed that he would probably implement some form of VR feature within the game when they eventually develop "The Elder Scrolls 6."
