'The Bold and the Beautiful' spoilers: Foiled schemes and renewed connections

Something is brewing between Steffy and Bill in "The Bold and the Beautiful" Twitter/BandB_CBS

Things may no longer be going according to plan for several characters on "The Bold and the Beautiful." Spoilers for this week's episodes hint that plans may end up getting foiled.

For starters, the jig appears to be up for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Mateo (Francisco San Martin) will be faced with some pressure to carry out his part of the plan. Sheila will insist that Mateo needs to take his efforts to the next level so he can successfully seduce Quinn (Rena Sofer). Mateo will do all he can to be able to do this in an upcoming massage. When Mateo brings his hand a little lower than usual, Quinn will wonder what he is doing.

Mateo will ask if she wants him to stop, and he might even say that they could keep this between the two of them if she wants to. Quinn does not plan on deceiving Eric (John McCook) again. She may even threaten to fire Mateo for overstepping boundaries. This is where Mateo will ultimately decide to spill the beans, and admit that this was Sheila's plan.

He will tell Quinn that he was paid to seduce her so Sheila can swoop in on Eric. Quinn will obviously be furious, and while she works out a way to handle this, Sheila will be busy planting seeds of doubt into Eric's head, suggesting that Quinn and Mateo are getting awfully chummy. Of course, she does not know that Mateo confessed, and so a big confrontation is headed their way, and it will leave Eric in the crossfire.

Steffy (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) will also have some problems of their own, but not before they make some time for each other. Things have been putting a damper on their relationship, so they will try to change that by hitting the sack.

Their problems will once again have Sally (Courtney Hope) at the center. Steffy will insist that Liam has done enough for Sally and think that she and her team can go on without him. However, Liam will think otherwise. He will be sorry that Steffy is not okay with the idea, but he is just not willing to make changes. He intends to help Sally out until he is sure that she is successful.

Other than providing some assistance to Sally, "The Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers for Monday's episode reveal that there will be some progress between Liam and Bill's (Don Diamont) relationship. After having deleted all copies of the recording, one might think that this would have further strained their relationship, but it is not the case at all.

Bill will then ask Liam to stay at Spencer and become his right hand man. He will think that they could make a great team and Steffy will also agree. There is a chance that Liam will be down for it.

If Steffy is worried about how close Liam and Sally are getting, Liam should also be worried about how close Steffy and Bill are becoming. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will have some second thoughts about her split from Bill. He would obviously want another chance with her, but it is also hard to deny that something is brewing between him and Steffy.

Should Bill and Steffy act on whatever it is between them, then things can get messy. Not only will the bond he has with Liam be broken again, but his chances at reuniting with Brooke will get thrown out the window.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
